Production optimization as a success factor: NUI Cosmetics sets the course for the future
Increasing efficiency and improving quality by relocating production facilities

After the latest “Die Höhle der Löwen” revisit show, many people are wondering what progress NUI Cosmetics has made in the meantime. Despite the challenges of modern life – between family and work – Swantje van Uehm, the founder of NUI, has made significant progress for the company.

NUI has not only expanded its product range, but also built up its team and refined its processes. A key step was the relocation of production from America back to Europe. This step follows the company’s consistent goal of optimizing efficiency and quality.

What specific advantages has this relocation brought for NUI?

The elimination of customs duties and lower purchase prices have significantly reduced production costs. The proximity to the production facilities enables stricter quality control and ensures that all products meet the high standards of natural and vegan cosmetics. In addition, the time required for product development has been significantly reduced, enabling NUI to react flexibly to market trends and customer requirements.

The changeover took more than 24 months and was associated with challenges, as the complexity of the purely vegan and natural products places high demands on production.

However, Swantje’s team has always acted strategically and thoughtfully in order to meet the high quality requirements and customer demand for rapid availability.

We are proud of the path that Judith Williams and Swantje van Uehm have taken together so far and look forward with confidence to an even more promising future!
